From the Hip Video Productions is pleased to announce a new kitchen set for all video content and photography shoots.
Dan Neatherway, Founder of From the Hip Video Productions comments “We work closely with many brands, restaurants, caterers and top chefs within the food and kitchenware sectors including Kenwood, Kikkoman, Roast and Jacaranda as well as Raymond Blanc OBE, Andrew Kojima and Adam Johnson. Being able to offer two kitchen sets mean we can further support our clients to achieve all their content requirements.”
The newly installed, modular kitchen offers a top of the range wooden work surface, elegant white kitchen cabinets and functioning appliances which can be fully propped according to any shoot requirements. Furthermore, as it’s modular, the central isle can be moved for total flexibility to suit all camera positions.
To accommodate lifestyle shoots, a kitchen table or breakfast bar stools can be added to the set to replicate all meal scenarios and our talented team can source all relevant props when needed.
A preparatory kitchen is also available to ensure all shoot food can be prepared in advance when required, and our expert home economists are on hand to do this
Dan Neatherway goes on to say “From the Hip Video Productions are experienced in producing video content for the food sector, with expert camera, lighting and sound crew, home economists, food stylists and talent/models available for all shoot requirements. We understand the complexities of shooting for this sector, whether it’s perishable food or reflective metal kitchen appliances. We look forward to working more closely with other brands in this sector.”

On 10th September, Godalming based video production company From the Hip Video took to the streets of London with charity Action Against Hunger to film the Walk Against Hunger.
Kicking off Action Against Hunger’s Love Food Give Food flagship fundraising campaign for 2015, the walk covered over 25km and took in some of the top 40 restaurants in central London. The chosen restaurants were leading Love Food Give Food 2014 fundraisers and the Action Against Hunger teampersonally wanted to say a huge thank you to them for their contribution and their continued support in 2015. Top London chefs and restaurants including Angela Hartnett and Jason Atherton’s restaurants were thanked.
Running throughout September and October, Action Against Hunger’s Love Food Give Food unites UK chefs, restaurants and lovers of eating out through the addition of a discretionary £1 donation to every table bill.
In 2014, over 350 restaurants raised £350,000 helping Action Against Hunger to provide life-saving treatment to malnourished children in 46 countries worldwide. By filming the Walk Against Hunger, Action Against Hunger hope to be able to inspire even more restaurants, chefs and diners to get involved in the campaign in 2016 so they can grow their much needed work worldwide.
Being food lovers ourselves, and as food and celebrity chef filming experts, From the Hip Video were delighted to offer their time to help Action Against Hunger achieve their goal.
Dan Neatherway, Founding Partner of From the Hip Video comments “We make our living filming in the food & restaurant industry. To be able to give back and produce a film for Action Against Hunger that aims to inspire more restaurants, chefs and food lovers to get involved in Love Food Give Food was a no brainer. We sincerely hope our film helps the charity raise even more money to continue their life-saving work.”
Emma Cullingford, Head of Food Related Fundraising at Action Against Hunger says “We would like to thank From the Hip Video. As a charity our priority is funding our life saving work with the money we raise not marketing. We now have a professionally produced fundraising film at no cost to help us raise even more money to help end child hunger.”
