A series of social recipes videos to tantalise taste buds with the nation favourite pickle
The Challenge.
Bristol based digital agency Activation needed to create a series of 6 recipe films to use on Branston Pickle’s social channels. They needed the films to show the uses of the age old partnership of Pickle and Pilgrims Choice cheddar, in new and inventive ways.
The Solution.
We used our links with home economists to develop their recipes, we storyboarded the 1 minute films, shot the films in our kitchen studio and edited them in our in-house editing facilities. We also shot the photographs for the campaign on the same day. The videos had the most hits the brand had ever experienced.
Being food-shooting specialists, we relished (pun intended) the opportunity to work with such a well-loved ingredient. The end-clients and the agency were present on shoot day, which was great for immediate feedback and signoff. We are used to working with one-man companies and CEO’s of multi-nationals alike. Everyone loves our relaxed studio atmosphere, unique forest location and bad-ass lunches.
